Half-Scale Challenge Student Design Competition 2018
Call for Entries: April 30th – May 30th
Alvanon presents our third annual Student Design Competition open to all fashion design students in the U.S.
Terms and conditions: All applicants must be currently enrolled in a fashion design program in the US territories. All applicants must register and like the Alvanon Facebook page. Participants must draft and design on a Half-Scale Alvaform (Half-Scale Alvaforms are available for purchase at a discounted rate). Only full, completed outfits will be accepted including, dresses, pant/bottom and top, undergarments or swimwear with cover piece (robe, shawl, cover-up, etc.). All entries must be submitted by May 30, 2017. Any entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Three finalists will be announced on the Alvanon website and social media in April 2017. Winner will be contacted by Alvanon. One winner will receive the grand prize of a Premium Full Sized AlvaForm. Must be over 18 to enter. Alvanon will select winners at its sole discretion and selections will be final. Winner must consent to use of their image and that of their design for promotional purposes by Alvanon. Applicants represent that designs submitted are their own work and do not infringe on the Intellectual Property of any other designer.
