Half Day Session: Decoding Sizing for Today's Inclusive World

The first part of this workshop is a half-day session addressing the reality that in today’s more inclusive world, it’s not just about ‘regular’ sizes anymore. Sizing strategies need to evolve to better fit a broader more diverse, global consumer base. Clothing should fit no matter the consumer’s size – short, tall, curvy, straight, big, small, non-gender specific, athletic, or every-day. This sizing and fit challenge is becoming more relevant every day.

  • Using data in decision making,
  • Quantifying body size and shape differences in the Men’s, Women, and Kid’s markets,
  • Considerations for adapting current product in other markets,
  • Adjusting measurement specs for expansion into other markets,
  • The impact of grade and labeling,
  • Observations on the impact of wearing preferences.
